ARABANG

I’m Arabang

As the saying goes, purpose is birthed through pain, I certainly walked into my purpose through pain. At the time it was unclear, and in the midst of it all, navigating through my own life dilemmas, I found myself helping others navigate through their own life challenges. My life was falling into pieces, I could have fallen apart and given up on life.

But I didn’t.

Instead, I decided to view my struggle as a signal that I can make a difference, help others to overcome what I was struggling with. I chose to look at my pain or struggle as a helping tool for others. I listened when I needed an ear to listen to my own struggle, I helped when I needed the help. I held up hands when I needed mine to be lifted. But I did it anyway.

It all didn’t make much sense at the time, but I followed a higher directive , instead of sulking on how my life was not going as planned, how helpless everything seemed to be, my focus shifted from my life to the life of others, unplanned, I travelled to help others, I had sleepless nights praying with others, and rejoiced with many when they received breakthroughs.

Little did I know that I was being trained for a bigger assignment. I’d like to believe that with everything I do, the core of my being is helping people, I love helping others, I find joy in making a difference, in bringing hope when it’s all lost.

I did it one sister at a time, but the Lord opened my eyes to realise that it will be more impactful if we all came together, and this led to the birth of Sister’s Helping Hand. Instead of one Sister at a time, all Sisters came together.

Today, I help other sisters individually, and as part of the larger Organisation. I help others through ministry in the bigger scheme of spreading the Gospel, bringing Hope and Restoration through the Word of God.

I believe and live by a personal motto that “A life well lived, is a life lived to its purpose”. I help others to discover and live that purpose.

Pastor & Speaker

Ps Arabang is a child of God, a mother of two teenagers who keeps her young, Tumisho and Ofentse.
She loves the Lord. With an intention to know more about the Lord, she enrolled at Bible school. She completed her bible studies at World Harvest Bible College. Little did she know that God had other plans with her Bible Studies, she was ordained as a Pastor in 2016. She is a teacher of the Word of God, a woman of God.

She has been in Ministry for over 10 years and served in different capacities such as children’s ministry leader, Associate Pastor and Branch Overseeing Pastor. She is the Senior Pastor at Cornerstone Christ the Center, a church base in Ruimsig, Roodepoort, Johannesburg.

Ps Arabang is an Accountant by profession, trained at one of the big four auditing firms and started her corporate career in the banking industry. She’s a businesswoman and a philanthropist who strives to make a difference in the lives of those she comes across.

She continues to minister and touch the broken-hearted through the ministry and through her speaking engagements. She ministers at different organisations and churches with one thing in mind, bringing freedom, restoration and transformation through the word of God (Luke 4:18-19).

Arabang is a Philanthropist extraordinaire at heart and strives to make a difference in people’s live in every possible way. Sisters Helping Hand makes it possible to touch many lives at a time. She founded SHH a Non-profit, Voluntary, Public Benefit Organisation, committed to providing a platform for the upliftment, healing and empowerment of women through the Word of God. The mission of the organisation is to extend a Helping Hand.

SHH was launched in 2016 and has been running for over 10 years. The Organisation helps women to create connections on multiple dimensions – spiritual, business and social.

The core of SHH’s interaction is the preaching of the word, aligning the Word with the three dimensions indicated above. This includes leading individuals to realize their God given talents and purpose, inspiring them to tap into their calling, being in spiritual, business or social areas.

The Organisation started its journey in 2016 and succeeded in hosting annual women empowerment events and supporting different charity works including adopted school in the disadvantaged Kyasand and taking SHH mission to the women in Kyasand community. The organization is looking into introducing skill development and Business startup seminars in the near future.

There are three networks within Sisters Helping Hand:
